Zhou is a scientist specializing in developing tissue specific drug delivery platforms. During her graduate studies and postdoctoral research, she has developed and validated multiple drug delivery platforms for disease therapy (liver cancer, breast cancer and brain disease).

Throughout her industry career, she has focused on developing formulation strategies to create solutions for RNA-based therapeutics. Her extensive experience in drug delivery led her to miRecule, where she assists in developing and characterizing innovative therapeutics for neuromuscular programs.
