James Ball, B.S.

Research Associate

James is a scientist with experience in the fields of molecular physiology and matrix biology. As a research fellow, James investigated signaling mechanisms in the extracellular matrix that direct progenitor cells to regenerate salivary glands damaged during head and neck cancer radiation therapy. He also explored the role of 3-O sulfated epitopes in FGFR signaling and their impact on the development of branching organs, including the kidney. His interest in clinical drug development led him to miRecule, where he will assist in the development of novel therapeutics for the head and neck cancer program.
