David is a registered patent attorney with over 25 years experience in patent law. With a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The Ohio State University, David’s work has primarily been focused in the pharmaceutical arts. His experience ranges from consulting for large pharmaceutical companies to being in-house counsel for start-ups. He has concentrated his practice on patent drafting and procurement, global patent strategies, freedom-to-operate, patentability and competitive analyses, and advising on drug candidate protection. Dr. Vance’s desire to be a part of an exciting, growing team brought him to miRecule.
